2025 FAMILY VOLUNTEERING LEVY
Unity Soccer Club is 100% volunteer staffed. Volunteers are the backbone of our club, providing essential support that enables the club to function and thrive. Without our volunteers, there would be no club.
In order to encourage volunteering, a $75 Family Volunteering Levy will be payable with 2025 registration fees, and will be refunded to families at the conclusion of the 2025 season upon volunteering a minimum of 3 hours.
All volunteering hours will be accrued and managed via the ‘SignUp‘ link which is emailed regularly to all families and posted on social media. Volunteering can be in the form of helping in the canteen, field set up and pack down, working bees, building and maintenance, marketing and administration.
Money accrued via the bond which is not refunded is used by the club to ensure all aspects of running a non-profit sporting club are maintained. No volunteer hours = no refund = no exceptions.

Matches are played on Saturdays throughout the school term, and generally there are no matches scheduled during school holidays. Games are played across the Sunshine Coast from Caloundra to Noosa.

TRAINING
Training sessions are conducted on weekdays, typically after school. The Team Coach selects the training times during the Meet & Great Day, considering their availability. While the Coach discusses the proposed training day with parents, the final decision rests with the Coach since they volunteer their time to coach the team. All training takes place at the Club fields located at Unity College.

UNIFORMS
Every player is provided with a training shirt and game socks as part of their registration fees. Numbered match day jerseys are provided for games. Each player is required to purchase shorts to complete the player's match uniform. Further information and prices can be obtained on our merchandise page. Supporters items are also available to purchase. Players are also required to supply their own boots and shin-pads (please note these are not sold by Unity Soccer).

VOLUNTEERS
Our club is 100% volunteer operated, and depends on the dedication of families to assist in any way they can. We kindly request families contribute a minimum of 3 hours of voluntary assistance throughout the season. This can include tasks such as working in the canteen, setting up and packing down the field, marketing, administrative duties, working bees, building and maintenance work.

Families who generously contribute 3 or more hours of volunteering throughout the season will have their Family Volunteering Levy of $75 reimbursed at the end of the season. This reimbursement serves as a token of appreciation for the invaluable contributions made by our volunteers.
